Bermuda domiciled, offshore electronic trading venue 24 Exchange is continuing its hiring spree, adding two more senior executives.
24 Exchange, founded by former FastMatch CEO Dmitri Galinov, has hired Michael Serpa (pictured above) from Edgewater Markets as the company’s new Global Head of Liquidity Management. Michael Serpa had been with Edgewater for the past six years, acting as the institutional broker’s Global Head of Liquidity. He had also previously worked at Northwestern Mutual and at Daversa Partners.
Keith Sedergreen, President of Australian financial markets industry association ACI for the past five years, is joining 24 Exchange in sales to cover the Australia-Asia region. He was previously a Managing Director at BGC Partners Australia, at Tullett Prebon Australia, and at ICAP Australia.
The new functional and geographic hires follow the recent addition of Cristian Arellano as 24 Exchange’s new VP Andean Market, and former Profit & Loss CEO Julie Ros to head Business Development.
24 Exchange, technically based in Bermuda but managed from New York, is an offshore electronic trading venue founded by former FastMatch CEO Dmitri Galinov. The company offers a multi-asset class trading platform that allows market participants to exchange their exposures at the lowest possible cost. The company initially launched trading in FX NDFs, adding more recently FX spot and FX swaps trading.
