FNG Exclusive… More movement afoot in the Retail FX world of Roei Gavish.
After reporting earlier today that Gavish’s Trade Capital Markets in Cyprus (which operates the Trade.com Retail FX brand) had acquired Spanish CFDs broker Activotrade and installed former Saxo Bank Spain executive Guillermo Galey Arco as that company’s new CEO, FNG has learned that another seasoned FX industry executive who had recently joined Mr. Gavish’s companies has now left.
As was exclusively reported by FNG last June, industry veteran Salim Sebbata joined the Trade.com group, to lead business development efforts. The London based Mr. Sebbata was also slated to act as Executive Director Of Livermarkets Limited, the FCA-licensed arm of the group which operates the livemarkets.com brand. Livemarkets offers CFD, Spread Betting, and DMA trading accounts. Salim Sebbata was previously Head of Middle East for CMC Markets, and was with E*Trade serving as a board member of E*Trade’s Dubai operation and as VP-Head of Middle East for the company.
Now, FNG has learned that Mr. Sebbata resigned from his position as a director at Livemarkets, and is also no longer working for Trade Capital Markets / Trade.com.
