TradingView upgrades search in Crypto Pairs Screener

TradingView has upgraded search in Crypto Pairs Screener.

The upgrade will be helpful to those traders who resort to filtering by symbol name when trying to find matching pairs. From time to time, a situation arises when a symbol is needed, consisting of a certain quoted pair. TradingView’s new feature will make it easier and faster to search for one’s strategy.

To do this, simply go to the Crypto Pairs Screener.

Open the filter dialog and find the new filter “Quote currency” located in the “Descriptive” category:

Select the necessary conditions in the filter:

The search will give you only crypto pairs for which the quoted currency matches the filtering conditions. For example, if you select USDT in the filter, the results will contain all pairs that have a quoted (second) pair of this value.

Please note that the results show not only spots, but also futures, perpetual swaps, and indices.

Let’s recall that TradingView has recently added two new indicators to the Crypto Pairs Screener now has two new indicators – “Volume 24h in USD” and “Volume 24h Change%”.

Trading volume is a good indicator of the liquidity and popularity of each instrument among investors/traders. The “Volume 24h in USD” indicator shows the total trading volume for this crypto instrument/pair over the last 24 hours in USD.

If you want to know how the dollar volume has changed, just add the “Volume 24h Change%” indicator to your chart. It displays the percentage change in volume over the past 24 hours and may indirectly indicate market moves.

24-hour volume data can be viewed:

  • In the Crypto Pairs Screener from the default Overview column set;
  • In the Markets tab of the symbol of the crypto pair you are interested in, under the default Overview column set.
